Funeral celebrant
As a funeral celebrant I help you to structure and form the service. I weave together personalised and meaningful funeral services. I work closely with you so that I can best understand your loved one’s life, personality, and wishes so that I can represent them accurately and heartfully.
You can ensure that your loved one’s final farewell is a fitting and respectful tribute. I can also offer support and guidance during this difficult time, and help you to create a positive and healing experience.
Saying goodbye, in a way that reflects your loved one as closely as possible is what I aim for with each funeral I hold. As a celebrant I come in gently and offer practical support, holding the threads of the service, listening and being with you through the decisions and planning.

You may wish to have a separate memorial service, in a garden, village hall or other special place. Families who choose this can find they have more time and space to include other elements to the celebration of life. Perhaps it gives more time to prepare, or allows for a wider circle of community and friends after a more intimate and private family funeral.
Practical info about what you get for your fee – funerals and memorials.
* I will contact you within 24 hours of first contact (usually much sooner) to touch base, discuss your initial needs and to arrange our meeting. You can book me directly contact page or through your funeral director by giving them my details.
* I liaise with you and the funeral director, if you have one, composing as much or as little of the service as you want – we decide on readings, tributes as traditional, modern or creative as desired.
* We can also have a meeting after the service, in the months that follow to debrief and share memories, and to see how you are getting on. If you would like this let me know.
* I will connect with other family and friends to build the tribute as needed. Up to 5 phonecalls of 20-30 mins are included in the fee.
* I will liaise with anyone else taking part in the ceremony so that the service is smooth and seamless, so that I hold the detail and encourage us all to be at ease
* I deliver the service on the day, in my unique, clear and professional style.
* Currently, travel costs up to 4 hours driving are included, further afield we will add on petrol costs fairly.
