It’s my pleasure to share with you details about me so that you can get a sense of who I am and whether I’m the right celebrant for you. Together I’m calling these services “Love at the Centre”, as I believe that Love is a tangible, relatable power that unites and supports us all.
Background: I was born on the North Suffolk border and have many memories from the Broads throughout childhood – the peace, stillness and closeness to nature. I lived in the North between the ages of 16 and 21, then came back to Norwich.
I’ve worked in all sorts of areas: hospitality, retail, education, holistic therapy and care work, the common factor being working with people. I’m a mum of five which makes life quite lively!
Community both local and global is important to me. Through all of my roles I keep coming back to a simple truth: connection between people, no matter how big or small, can truly help us to our very core.
I am confident that the service you receive through me is full of integrity and is of the highest quality. Additionally I have signed up to “The Celebrant Accord” which further states my intention of excellent practice.
I’ve a keen interest in what helps us create and sustain our happiest self.
I have a deep faith in there being a deep connection between all of life. There are many ways to describe this connection (God, the Universe, Spirit…) I’ve chosen to go with Love as it is the simplest and we all know what it means.
The service you can expect from me:
- I am dedicated to good, honest, straightforward communication.
- Others tend to find me as calm, confident and trustworthy.
- My aims are to assist you in gathering everything that we can for the ceremony, providing as much support as I am able and signposting you on to others if needs be, staying in touch, really being alongside you.
- In the UK, we have room to be creative with funerals, weddings and baby namings. I am open to new ideas, suggestions and requests. I will do everything I can to accommodate these.
